Two years ago, to the day, Transport For London announced that they were scrapping one of the remaining two routes, which was operated by a classic Routemaster.

Route 9, which ran between Kensington High Street and Trafalgar Square, was going to be replaced with new style buses.

This resulted in just one remaining route, route 15, which ran between Trafalgar Square and Tower Hill.

A very sad day for bus enthusiasts as it was a clear sign that the iconic Routemaster bus was slowly being phased out.

What made it worse was that it was announced during 60th anniversary celebrations for the Routemaster.

Talk about feeling heartbroken!

With only a small handful of classic Routemasters still operating on London roads, you can see why they get so much attention.

They turn heads, get smiles and bring back so many memories for those of a certain age.

That’s why we make it our utmost priority to look after them and restore them to the highest of standard.

We make every little detail of our Routemasters feel as real as it would have felt to jump aboard back in the day.

This is one of the reasons they get so much attention at events & exhibitions.

Everybody absolutely loves them.
