Where does Father’s Day come from? Well it was first celebrated in 1910 at the YMCA in Washington.
The civil war veteran, William Jackson Smart managed to successfully raise six children, on his own. One of his daughters Sonora Smart Dodd organised the celebration, Father’s Day as a great big thank you.
And now it’s here again. Father’s Day is this Sunday, the 19th June.
Are you struggling with ideas for a great present for Dad? Why not hire a Routemaster for his special day.
