It has been an incredible year for RedRoutemaster.com and this year has been another step in our journey to be the largest and most respected Routemaster operator in the world.
This year we have been fortunate enough to be part of hundreds of weddings and events which have all required pin-point timing and operations to ensure that the bride gets to the isle and that each and every hire compliments the bigger plans of the day.
To add to our logistical challenges, everything is relying on 60+-year-old buses with millions of miles on the clock, as well as a team that works tirelessly driving in and around London morning, noon and night.
This means that our team have to work their socks off, overcome challenges and sometimes perform the impossible to ensure that all our passengers are safe, delighted and it creates an experience that they’ll all remember.
Everybody in our team gives so much.
It’s the reason that when we’re nominated for awards, it means so much that all of our efforts are being recognised.
Last week, we discovered that we have been nominated as ‘Logistics Business of the Year’ in the prestigious ‘West London Business Awards’ – we have three fellow great businesses that we have reached the final spots with and at a black-tie events evening in February 2020, we’ll discover if we have won the award.
Our team cannot wait!
To add to that, on the 2nd December, we discover if we have been nominated for the ‘Best Transport’ at the ‘UK Wedding Awards’ organised by Hitched.com
In 2018 and 2019, we were the lucky winners of this award and we have everything crossed that we’ll be nominated and win this competitive category once again.
